Happiness for all

Where did we come from? And where are we headed? These are perplexing questions that stare us every time we get in the mood of introspection. Well, the answers are simple. We came from nothing and go back to nothing. Which in simple words means that we came from God’s kingdom and go back there. Not that this Earth is not in God’s sovereignty. Everything is and will be. But we are sent to this planet with a purpose, which we have to unravel ourselves. The purpose if you ask me is to make this world a better place than it was before. Maybe, a little better. We must do our part and leave the rest to God.  It may take us a lifetime to make a positive difference. But however small it is, we would’ve made a difference.

Do not think of anything else. Live simple. Do not complicate matters. You were meant to be happy and happy you shall be. All days may not be the same. Some days we may feel down, and other days spirited. We live for the latter. Because when we are truly happy, we exude an aura that can benefit not just us, but the whole world. Good decisions are taken when we are in a good mood. Mixing up important decisions with a bad mood can make things adverse. Hence always put on a smile on your face. If its genuine, its better. Still try to smile. God wants you to, always. Shed  your sorrow or your tension for a moment d d see the world for what it is – a den of action, which results in love.

All of us are God’s children and have equal rights. The distribution however has skewed up things. Make a million if you want to, but remember you can’t carry it to the other world. Alone you have come and alone you shall go. In the end it really doesn’t matter whether you are a billionaire or an average Joe. So share what little you have with others. The reason why Facebook is doing well (not the stock price) in terms of publicity is the very ability of sharing that it enables. Sharing doesn’t always have to be physical. We have learned this. The other reason why we like to share is also to be appreciated. Feels good to get a pat at the back. And if what we share is touched a person or many people, even without a pat, we would’ve done our bit.

If you look at the world, there is so much out there. But don’t get inundated by the din. Use filters. Only be receptive to what is important to you. That means your interests. Stay away from swallowing everything. You simply can’t. Hence enjoy a straightforward simple life by taking it in, one piece at a time. Multitasking is not meant for us. Machines do it well, we don’t. Do not take in things that don’t agree with your value system. In simple words, do not go against yourself. And soon you will find that this life gifted to us, is the most important thing that has ever happened. You are the trustee of this gift. Please guard it and enjoy it, the way God has meant you to.

Happiness for all …
